The Five-Second Reset
Build a physical cue, breath, and key phrase that brings you back to the next play.
Mistakes cost twice: once when they happen, and again in the plays lost while you're still thinking about them. A reset shortens the second cost.
The sequence is always the same: release, breathe, cue, next task. Decide it now so it doesn't need deciding later.
Example: exhale, say 'this moment', and lock your eyes on the catcher's glove.
